RECHARGE DANVERS BUBBLE STUDIO

Ella Oxygen Bath

micron bubble oxygen bath

Therapy OVERVIEW

A Micro Bubble Oxygen Bath uses a pump and diffusion portal to infuse bath water with microbubbles and ultrafine bubbles (tiny bubbles that can be far smaller than a human hair). These fine bubbles create a soft, effervescent “cloud” sensation in the water and are being studied for their unique physical properties in water, including stability and interaction with surfaces.

In wellness use, Micro Bubble baths are primarily positioned for deep relaxation, gentle whole-body cleansing, and skin comfort—often described as a “full-body facial” experience.

WHY

Why would you use an oxygen bath? Because the combination of warm-water immersion plus a dense field of micro/ultra-fine bubbles may support:

  • A deeper-feeling cleanse with less reliance on harsh scrubbing (fine-bubble bathing is being evaluated as “surfactant-sparing cleansing,” including in atopic dermatitis research contexts).

  • Skin comfort and barrier support (early evidence includes preclinical and safety/feasibility work—promising, but still developing).

  • A nervous-system downshift from warm-water immersion itself—many people feel calmer and looser within minutes of soaking.

About “negative ions” and mood: Negative air ions have been studied for mood outcomes, with mixed evidence overall; some findings suggest potential benefit for depression at higher exposure levels, but it’s not a guaranteed effect.

RECOMMENDED

Great for:

  • Dry, stressed, or “tight” skin days (comfort + hydration feel).

  • High-stress weeks when you want a calmer mind/body reset through warm immersion.

  • Anyone who wants a gentle, non-intense recovery ritual (especially when you’re not up for cold or heavy exertion).

Avoid or get medical clearance first if you have:

  • Unstable heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, fainting risk, or heat intolerance

  • Fever/acute illness, dehydration, or open wounds/skin infections

  • Pregnancy or other significant medical conditions where hot bathing may be restricted
(These are standard heat/immersion safety cautions.)

HOW OFTEN

A practical cadence for most people:

  • Start: 1 session/week

  • Routine: 1–2 sessions/week

  • Skin-support focus: Up to 2–3 sessions/week if you’re targeting dry-skin comfort and you tolerate warm bathing well

Most members feel best around 15–25 minutes per session (enough to relax without overheating).

BENEFITS

Beyond “it feels amazing,” the most evidence-aligned benefits include:

  • Gentle cleansing + barrier-friendly routines: Fine-bubble bathing/showering is being studied for cleansing approaches that may be easier on sensitive skin.

  • Skin comfort + hydration feel: Early and preclinical evidence suggests potential benefits for inflammatory skin settings (promising, not definitive).

  • Relaxation + sleep readiness: Warm bathing can support relaxation and sleep routines when timed well (often 1–2 hours before bed).

  • Oxygen-in-water mechanisms: Micro/nano bubbles are studied for improved oxygen transfer efficiency in water systems; translating that into specific “cellular absorption through pores” claims in a consumer bath is not yet firmly established, so we position this as an emerging area.

  • Mood claims from negative ions: Research is mixed; any “serotonin boost” language should be framed as possible and not promised.

SUMMARY

Micro Bubble Oxygen Bath is a high-comfort, low-intensity wellness experience that combines warm-water immersion with a dense field of micro/ultrafine bubbles to support relaxation, gentle cleansing, and skin comfort. The strongest, most defensible outcomes are stress downshift + skin-feel improvements, while oxygen/ion mechanism claims are best treated as emerging rather than guaranteed.
